DML signs Letter of Intent with Beanstream Internet Commerce

Today, Dark Matter Labs (DML) and Beanstream Internet Commerce (Beanstream) signed a Letter of Intent to work together in 2011 to co-develop a new method of secure payment data exchange.  Beanstream is one of Canada’s largest e-commerce gateways with a network of over 10,000 merchants across the country. Intimately aware of the risks involved with securing merchant payment info, Beanstream intents to work with DML to increase the level of data security between itself and its merchants using advanced packet encryption technologies developed by DML.  The plan is to begin development in Q1 2011 with a working model by Q3.

This collaboration is aimed at introducing a new, and much needed, level of security to the payment industry which routinely suffers from various forms of advanced cyber-security threats.  DML hopes to build on this eventual success by introducing these payment security options to other e-commerce gateways across North America.
